Why do you have a problem with my use of the term "grandstanding." ?

That was you in here?

I was referring to the way Booker and Hirono were depicted in the media. That grandstanding put important information out here the GOP tried to keep under wraps.
LOL

Cory Booker “ risked expulsion” from the Senate by threatening to release “ confidential documents that the American people desperately needed to see”.
How dare they be kept in the dark about the racist Judge Trump nominated to SCOTUS!
It is time to show everyone what that evil Kavanaugh wrote in an email about racial profiling while working in the Bush White House after 9/11.

Well.
The emails had been cleared for the public and Booker knew it.
And the words in the email revealed Kavanaugh was not proposing racial profiling.

Booker comes across as a cheap imitation of Trump which underscores the stupidity of the democrats.  Running for President requires a more thoughtful strategy than demonizing the opposition. Hillary proved that.

well, that settles it, right?
Booker is a leaf blowing in the breeze of the democrat base. To everybody else he is laughable.

One of the most bittersweet moment in film because Joss Whedon is a heartless bastard, but I thought it an appropriate response to Red’s analogy.

Party-like atmosphere as activists wait for Obama to speak in Anaheim

http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-essential-washington-updates-party-like-atmosphere-as-activists-wait-1536432316-htmlstory.html

--------

Obama speaks at rally for Democratic congressional candidates in California

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-speaks-at-rally-for-democratic-congressional-candidates-in-california-live-stream-updates-2018-09-08/

-----------------

Obama spoke very eloquently about what America stands for, and about the importance of citizen service, and he spoke about why it is important to send Democrats to Congress to fight against Trump, and why it is important to fight for a good education for the children, and for health care for all, and for all men being created equal with unalienable rights, and for equal pay for equal work for women, and for Social Security and healthcare for retired folks, etc. Obama also mentioned the environment, if you care about the environment then you need to elect Democrats.

And if you are against building a wall on our Southern Border, then you better support the Democrats.

Obama also mentioned that the Republican Party was the party of Abraham Lincoln, but the party of Trump is unrecognizable to folks who were good Republicans. Reagan was a Republican, and Reagan made all of our immigrants legal so that they could legally work and join unions and so that they could call the police in the case of an emergency, etc. Reagan was also against walls, and Reagan told Gorbechev to tear down the Berlin Wall. Trump is nothing like Reagan. I was a Republican because of guys like Reagan, and Lincoln, but Trump is nothing like Reagan nor Lincoln.

We need to elect all Democrats in the upcoming election.

Salute,

Tony V.

Also, I would like to add, if you want high speed trains, then you need to support the Democrats.

So, this Rasmussen is not the same as Kiid's Rasmussen?

That’s true. Kid’s polling opiate has the Dem’s +4 over the moribund gop in its generic congressional ballot. All other polls have it at +7 to +10.

The market speaks.

You also need a conflicted FBI director to sand-bag the opposition candidate a week before the election, .....

If Hillary only had some red-hats...

You really think this is why she lost?

Come on, man.

Come on, man.

You're struggling a lot with that piece of history, Kiid.

a) There were many factors in her loss. Reverse any one of them and you get a different story.

b) One of those factors was the Comey letter. You seriously think that impacted under 1% of the voters - to have that letter come out so soon before the election and then have the media dedicate its coverage to that issue for the remainder of the campaign?

77,000 votes in 3 states.

If so, you are more deluded than ever we might have thought.

c) But the sexism issue remains an even stronger factor in her loss. The GOP is worse in that regard than the independents or the Dems, but it is not as if that is not a factor for them, as well.
