Crimes against children is when you illegally cross the border and use them as shields.
---Illegal immigration on pace for worst year since massive wall-building spree in 2007---

---Amazing how you ignore that the numbers crossing the border from Mexico are lower than they have been in decades.--- Huh!
A different reality, false news? You cannot believe anything the liberal elite tell you about immigration. Forget the facts just remember pictures of crying babies. But illegal immigration is not illegal?
The I was just applying for asylum card no longer works. Were they persecuted for being violent primitives?
My numbers came from the government's website, Luee, not the Washington Times.
And you chide me for
my choice of sources?
It's not "crying babies."
It is the government admitting that there are thousands more children detained than they admitted to in June, July, and August - August, when they said they only had 500 left to reunite with their families.
You keep pretending that it is all right to have taken these kids from their families.
And you say "I was just applying for asylum card no longer works."
ON WHAT FUCKING BASIS?
https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/refugees-asylum/asylum/obtaining-asylum-united-statesTo obtain asylum through the affirmative asylum process you must be physically present in the United States. You may apply for asylum status regardless of how you arrived in the United States or your current immigration status.
You must apply for asylum within one year of the date of their last arrival in the United States, unless you can show:
Changed circumstances that materially affect your eligibility for asylum or extraordinary circumstances relating to the delay in filing
You filed within a reasonable amount of time given those circumstances.
You may apply for affirmative asylum by submitting Form I-589, Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal, to USCIS. See Form I 589, Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal for instructions on how to file for asylum.
That's the LAW, Luee. It's not something that you or Trump can ditch just because you feel like it.
A little farther down the same page, it explains:
Affirmative asylum applicants are rarely detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). You may live in the United States while your application is pending before USCIS. If you are found ineligible, you can remain in the United States while your application is pending with the Immigration Judge. Most asylum applicants are not authorized to work.
This is from the most recent year that DHS has for illegal aliens living in the United States.
https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/publications/18_1214_PLCY_pops-est-report.pdfEstimates of the Unauthorized Immigrant Population Residing in the United StatesOf the 12.0 million illegal aliens in 2015, nearly 80 percent
had been in the United States for longer than 10 years, whereas
only six percent had entered within the last five years (2010-
2014) (see Table 1 and Figure 2). During the peak period in
2007, less than 50 percent of the population had been in
the United States for longer than 10 years, and more than
20 percent had entered within the most recent five-year period
(2002-2006). This pattern suggests a declining rate of growth
of new illegal immigration and/or an increasing share of new
illegal aliens being repatriated or otherwise returning home
From a press release from DHS:
Smugglers and traffickers then use these large groups as “cover” while USBP resources are utilized to arrest and detention related duties associated with the large groups.
On January 16, 2018, USBP apprehended a group of 253 illegal aliens and in a separate event seized approximately 265 lbs of Marijuana.
On January 17, 2018, USBP agents seized 705 lbs of Cocaine. On the same day, USBP agents apprehended a large group of 174.
On January 18, 2018, USBP apprehended a group of 116 and in a separate event seized approximately 1,087 lbs of Marijuana.
Contrast that with

Customs and Border Protection announced the seizure of the three containers on Thursday, which were intended to be shipped to Australia before being searched on Jan. 11. The containers were filled with speakers “artfully” stuffed with the drugs.
In addition to the 3,810 pounds of meth, the shipment also contained 55.9 pounds of cocaine and 11.5 pounds of heroin. Australian officials said the total street value of the haul was $1.29 billion.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/12/us/politics/border-agency-employees-arrested.htmlMore than 500 employees of the United States’ primary border security agency were charged with drug trafficking, accepting bribes and a range of other crimes over a two-year period, according to reports released on Friday.
The reports, released by Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Human Resource Management and its Office of Professional Responsibility, covered the years 2016 and 2017.
The wall won't solve the problems of either drugs coming through our Ports of Entry or the fact that we helped to destroy Guatemala's and El Salvador's and Honduras' economies and therefore their people are fleeing to our country as the safest place they can find.
Your fears of criminals is fed purely by the right wing.
But why let yourself be confused with the facts.
