Brown says he really does not want to run. Our resident labeler of others as partisan cocksuckers finds something nefarious in that. As he would.

Smart guy.  Who the hell wants to be roasted by Trump?

I didn't find it nefarious.  It was pragmatic. Brown is more important to the gems in the Senate.
Your overreaction to common sense is telling.

Mrs bambu loves Walmart.

At one store, an African American girl wanted her to keep talking as she liked hearing her 'accent'.
Not English, Irish, Scottish, Canadian, American, German etc...and not 'ocker' Australian.
Probably one the girl had never heard before.

On the other hand, she most likely would've wished bambu would stop talking.
Having teeth that are good enough, but not absolutely pearly white like he'd been to the 'channel 9 dentist' for caps etc, or like most young people seem to have today, ….and a voice that never returned properly after he lost it once in a room full of smokers at a wedding, ...a heart condition that sees his lungs not always full of air,...he doesn't open his mouth very much, puffs and pants if more than a few words, and mumbles in a weird and raspy half-voice growl.
Phone calls are 'fun'...heavy-breathing, mumbling, weird and raspy half-voice growl. ["must remember to put phone on speaker and away from mouth"]
Lord only knows what people on the other end think.
They always seem happy to take my money and credit card details.

Yeah, you can tell by the line-up of candidates already signed up that the Democrats are really afraid of facing the fearsome Donald Trump!

Ask Nancy Pelosi about that, too.

It's International Womens Day today.
Lovely.

When is it International Mens Day?
Every other fucking day on the calendar.

And International White Heterosexual Christian Males Day?
See above.

There is an International Mens Day.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Men%27s_Day

International Men's Day (IMD) is an annual international event celebrated every year on 19 November.

Yo!
Gotta love equality.

Is Father's Day offensive to women and single mothers? Some think so and are petitioning to have the holiday banned all together.

International Mens Day next?

I'm not sure how you define "visible", sure AOC is not yet running for President.  But certainly Biden (coming) Warren and Sanders are leadership, along with just about every upcoming star (Booker, Gillibrand, Harris) on the list.  Clinton not on that list, no surprise, but more than a dozen declarations already doesn't point to the Dems shaking in their boots.

There may be any number of good reasons for someone to not run.  However you meant the term "roasting" I'd say that neither Trump's (nonexistent) political strength nor fear of being called names is holding anyone back.

On top of that he has no deep pockets in his organization and is from Ohio, the reddest of states with a statewide GOP political organization that swept all statewide races in 2018.

A lot of nonsense in the above post but this line stands out as particularly clueless.

The fact that Brown easily won a senate seat in a red leaning  state that is critical to the electoral college math decisively supports Whiskeypriest's post.

When is the last time a prior general election loser mounted a solid campaign the next time out, Humphrey in 1972? No rational person expected her to run, though some on the right wanted to keep her around as a bogeyperson until AOC appeared on the scene to stoke irrational fears of and mounds of funds off of.

She and Hamlet Biden are the only visible names not on the list. Brown was way below Harris or Warren or Sanders.

Ohio is not the reddest of the battleground states?  The democrat party is not  impotent there? Sherrod Brown is a prolific fund raiser?   LOL

Sherrod Brown is a safe senate seat for the dems. He has no interest in pursuing a primary fight he cannot win or afford. As a Veep nominee he would add nothing to the ticket and his possible loss would be a major blow to the dems’ Senate hopes. Especially if the eventual nominee is also a sitting Senator. .

Ohio has always been bluer in the Presidential election than in the state offices. Supposedly, Clinton opted against Brown because she thought he was key to gaining a Democratic Senate majority. I always liked Clinton and thought she would be a very effective President, but her electoral instincts.were not the most sharply honed tool in her kit.

Yeah, because of the strong possibility that the replacement Senator for Harris or Gillibrand or Klobuchar or.Booker is so likely to be a Republican!

To the extent the VP matters in a Presidential election in a positive way, Brown would be a good, effective choice.

Her electoral instincts should have put her in the White House considering all the hurdles she jumped only to get fucked over on Election Day.

When all the shit shakes out we’ll find how much influence Rudy Giuliani and the old heads at NYC FBI FO had in Comey’s ridiculous pronouncements right before the election. Factor in the Wikileaks docu dump within hours of the Access Hollywood tape, and now we learned FOX killed the story on Trump’s paying off women during the campaign.

Shit. All that and she loses by 77K over three states...
