I don’t know about your screenplay, Tony, but I know Amistad was an incredible film.

Bambi’s no 1 radio host described it as a film about the plight of valiant Portuguese mariners deprived of a reasonable expectation of profit.

Trump is afraid the massive economic cluster fuck he has teed up will dissuade migrants from wanting to enter the US, robbing him of his only campaign issue. His answer is to cut aid to Central American nations to keep the flow of victims strong to feed his cages. He’s working hard to create the immigration crisis he imagines will keep him out of prison.

Well thank God you can always post at "Stormfront" then.

Exactly why there are White Supremacists/White nationalists in America and elsewhere today...no one wants to condemn anti-White racism.

You have it totally backwards.

The White Supremacists have been with us for as long as there have been whites, Bambi.
Not a lot of lynching of whites going on in North America ever. Not a lot of negroes talking about the whites as a less er species that needed to be watched over because they could not function on their own. Nor claiming whites were happier being slaves.

And even now, it is still not happening.

But, I cannot even get anyone to read my script that I wrote, and I am a White guy, it is supposed to be easy for American White guys. And as an actor I could not even get a job on "The Young and the Restless."

Um, Tony?

No, it is not "supposed to be easy for American White guys."

It's EASIER for them, overall.

And do you know how many people want acting jobs versus how many get them?

https://www.statista.com/statistics/548587/roles-minorities-hollywood-movies/

Minorities get a bit more than 13% of acting jobs in American movies. Lower percentage of scripts.

Your problem is not your color. It is not these foreigners getting their scripts.

Amistad was a brilliant idea and a brilliant production. But it took luck, too, to get it seen. Ask your South African friend not for a role in his movie but if he can (a) help you tighten your script and (b) get it seen.

It might be that you just need some luck and connections, whether your script is brilliant or if it sucks. (Plenty of sucky scripts get turned into movies!)

https://talkbusiness.net/2019/03/u-s-economy-in-4q-slows-faster-than-expected-2018-gdp-growth-ends-at-2-9/

Or as Wilber Ross calls it, "3."

The rate of increase in income dropped by more than 50% in the 4th quarter compared with the 4% spike in the 3rd quarter.

The economy grew at 2.2% for the 4th quarter, down from the preliminary estimate of 2.6%. The Wall Street predictions for 2019 were 3% growth, similar to what President Trump had announced he would bring us. The coming year's WS predictions are not as rosy - if we fall short of that, it will mean even an even greater deficit.

It's not just that Trump has appointed incompetent know-nothings to positions, but that when they are called on how little they know, they cannot simply admit their ignorance.

Betsy DeVos provides a case in point:
https://www.facebook.com/NowThisPolitics/videos/639904879803107/

She asserts that large class sizes might benefit students. When asked for a basis for such a claim, first she wonders that it was not in her prepared material, then simply says she is sure that there are studies that suggest a specific class size is not recommended, and requests the question be put on the record and she will provide the data later.

There is no such data since WWII.

I know somebody already posted about the Rick Scott appointment to prepare Trump's health care initiative, but it is so appalling that it requires a second look:
http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/04/rick-scott-is-an-odd-choice-to-lead-gops-health-care-reform.html

Scott's company was fined $1.7 billion for its Medicare fraud!

Quote
Columbia billed Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs for tests that were not necessary or ordered by physicians;
The company attached false diagnosis codes to patient records to increase reimbursement to the hospitals;
The company illegally claimed non-reimbursable marketing and advertising costs as community education;
Columbia billed the government for home health-care visits for patients who did not qualify to receive them.

Further, Scott as governor enriched himself with their drug testing of welfare recipients, which proved to cost more than it saved.
https://www.tampabay.com/news/courts/florida-didnt-save-money-by-drug-testing-welfare-recipients-data-shows/1225721

Quote
Required drug tests for people seeking welfare benefits ended up costing taxpayers more than it saved and failed to curb the number of prospective applicants, data used against the state in an ongoing legal battle shows.

The findings — that only 108 of the 4,086 people who took a drug test failed — are additional ammunition for the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida, which sued the state and won a temporary ban on the drug-testing program in October, said ACLU spokesman Derek Newton.

The numbers, confirming previous estimates, show that taxpayers spent $118,140 to reimburse people for drug test costs, at an average of $35 per screening.

The state's net loss? $45,780.

"That's not counting attorneys and court fees and the thousands of hours of staff time it took to implement this policy," Newton said.

Nor is Scott the only inappropriate appointment in recent days.

Trump is going for the full inbred junky approach to staffing.

Crime puts you in his circle. Huge crimes for which you get caught make him a fan boy.

Victim of his own white privilege, but still not nearly gross enough to pass for a republican.

Nah...I have it exactly the right way, forwards...today.
Today, some misguideds think anti-White racism is all just fine.
Andrew Bolt is trying to tell them it's not. He's trying to tell them that it could lead to another "White loser" snapping, and all that could entail.
It's also not what should be happening in today's "no hate speech" desired world.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Monday that a pair of allegations of inappropriate kissing and touching against former Vice President Joe Biden should “not at all” disqualify him from the 2020 race.

“No. No, I do not,” Pelosi told reporters when asked if she thinks the allegations from two women are disqualifying.

“I don’t think that this disqualifies him from being president,” she said while walking to the House chamber. “Not at all.”

The same Nancy Pelosi who took all of 2 seconds to throw Virginia Governor Ralph Northam under the bus for appearing in blackface when he was in college.

No, you have it exactly wrong.

White supremacists have espoused the same bullshit for centuries. They have new excuses for the same lame lines - and you are one of their supporters.
