Oh. So the DOJ approved the leaked Mueller letter of March 27?

Not sure what you are trying to say here.  No Mueller does not need permission to send an interdepartmental letter.  Yes Mueller testimony to Congress is requested and scheduled through the DOJ.  If this is still not getting through to you, you are being purposefully obtuse.

Mueller can say anything he wants, anytime.  Since he is the prosecutor on this matter he also has a responsibility to testify to Congress which Barr and the White House have encouraged.

Oh  I see. The hearings have competing opinions.  The ones you agree are the 'facts' in your world.

Barr was asked a question, and he clearly did not know the underlying facts behind the question.  This was not an opinion expressed by one side or the other.  Barr did not know facts as laid out in the report.  And this happened more than once.
It was Mueller’s report to write which has been released.  It was not Barr’s duty to
“ interpret Mueller’s findings” except when Mueller declined criminal action n obstruction.

Looks like the state is making a run st reining in Prince George’s County PD.

The law can work well when sides have earnest and ethical representation.

Unfortunately now we have to delouse the trumpists from the federal judiciary before they do much more harm.

Speaking of trumpists, they are playing their hand piss poorly, buffooning themselves quite badly all week.

Rumor has it things have gotten so bad Mike Pence is polling his cabinet level co-conspirators, the few left wedged still in the crack of the giant kiester, on the 25th Amendment again.

Where did you hear the Pence rumor?

The Scott Adams (Dilbert!?) analysis might be right about the "both sides" comment.  I appreciate that he looks at the context and entirety of 45s quotes.  But, the thing is, he has to ignore the many other instances going back to the 70s of 45's racism to make his overall case.  He's got the selection bias problem that he says anti-Trumpers have.

News Item- May 3, 2019.

American employers picked up the pace of hiring in April and the unemployment rate fell to a fresh half-century low, adding to signs of a healthy U.S. economy. Nonfarm payrolls increased a seasonally adjusted 263,000 in April, the Labor Department said. The unemployment rate fell to 3.6%.
Unemployment was last this low in December 1969 when it hit 3.5%. At a time when many economists see a tight labor market, big job growth continues as the economic expansion is just a few months away from being the longest in history.

If it's the longest in history, then most of it happened during the Obama administration.

The new edition of Obama: The Call Of History
by New York Times chief White House correspondent Peter Baker lays bare Obama’s fury about the 2016 election.

In a stinging passage Baker writes: 'To Obama and his team, however, the real blame lay squarely with Clinton. 'She was the one who could not translate his strong record and healthy economy into a winning message'
'Never mind that Trump essentially ran the same playbook against Clinton that Obama did eight years earlier, portraying her as a corrupt exemplar of the status quo.
'She brought many of her troubles on herself. No one forced her to underestimate the danger in the Midwest states of Wisconsin and Michigan.
'No one forced her to set up a private email server that would come back to haunt her.
'No one forced her to take hundreds of thousands of dollars from Goldman Sachs and other pillars of Wall Street for speeches.
'No one forced her to run a scripted, soulless campaign that tested eighty-five slogans before coming up with 'Stronger Together'.
Baker's book also gives new insight into why Obama was so hesitant about criticizing Russia for meddling in the 2016 election before vote took place.
Obama was led by his 'cautious don't-do-stupid-s**t instincts' and feared that a forceful response would make Russia 'escalate' its operation.

Then there was the question of how Trump would react and Obama admitted that 'if I speak out more, he'll just say it's rigged'.
Obama wrongly assumed that Clinton would win the election and Obama said in one meeting that Russian President Vladimir Putin 'backed the wrong horse'.
In the end Obama would wait until after the election result before expelling Russian diplomats and it was only weeks before he left office that he released the intelligence assessment confirming that the hacking was done by the Kremlin.
Recent reports have said that Trump's aides will not bring up election security with him because he sees it as de-legitimizing his election victory.
That has not stopped Trump from blaming Obama for the Russian hacking and he Tweeted last week: 'Anything the Russians did concerning the 2016 Election was done while Obama was President'.
Trump added: 'He was told about it and did nothing! Most importantly, the vote was not affected'.
