People traveled from other parts of the state and city, essentially gaming the system and locking out actual Washington Heights residents.   Once you deal in facts,  and renounce glib innuendos, the nature of the wrongness becomes clear.   Latinos have more risk factors for the severe form of SARS-COVID 2, and both logic and basic decency would place them in line first.

Do some reading up

The Armory is used because of its size as much as the locale.  Just happens to be in Wash Hights.  A CNN scribe ran with this unnecessarily and they of course got the mayor to provide the needed PC quote.

In North Jersey the Meadowlands Racetrack is being opened as a center.  The reason to have bigger centers is so that it can serve a greater mass, a region.

Are we supposed to check first at Meadowlands to see if it is open only to serve the Hispanics of the towns of N Bergen, Union City and Passaic or can my "white" town also benefit?  And how many minorities have to get vaccinated before its ok for my 72 year old cousin to register and not be guilted for signing up?
