I'm not particularly offended by "Achtung" but as posted before, found it pretty funny and hypocritical that the guy who uses it as basically his sig line, accused another  of being a grammar nazi.

Tell me none of you white folks watched 'Seinfeld!"

"No grammar for YOU!"

The backlash for the term "Grammar Nazi" is the moral equivalent of decrying the "erasure of Dr. Suess and Mr. Potatohead."

Watching Seinfeld was not a pleasant experience. I'd rather watch All in the Family, which did social discomfort to some effect beyond ratings.

Really?

Seinfeld was literally a show about nothing.

It was about socially uncomfortable situation after socially uncomfortable situation.

Friends at least pretended to have a plot, but I didn't care for it, either.

Both shows blasted their way into cultural fabric but when my kids left the show behind in their tween years I was greatly relieved.

I have friends who are big Seinfeld fans and EVERYONE knows about the 'Soup ...uh  Guy" and "Festivus.'

Fran hated both shows...

Yup

Joe radiates warmth and decency

Seems to...maybe why he rushed to Megan's "side" after the Oprah interview.

Not exactly the George Floyd experience for this privileged Red Sox player: https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb-johnny-damon-dui-arrest-body-cam-footage-blue-lives-matter-182520064.html

Tough night for Damon who played for about half the AL teams, (7) the most time with the Royals. Not sure why he's called a Red Sox player.

I liked him as a player, and he hit one of the most memorable HRs in Sox history.

Damon, the two-time World Series champion with the Boston Red Sox, is charged with driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

He won 1 with the Sox and 1 with the Ys.

Under promise over deliver. Old fashioned politics.

One of the things we used to say at Sojourners is good politicians know how to feel which the way the wind is blowing but great politicians change the wind.

Biden understands he has the opportunity to reset the game and he’s been at this so long he knows how to get shit done.

Biden is already changing the wind.

More asymmetric polarization: Democrats move to impeachment investigation of Cuomo. Republicans on Madison Cawthorne, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, Andy Biggs, Mo Brooks, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz: nothing. Crickets. Tribalism over fundamental morality.

Nice.

The GOP doesn’t need a playbook so much as a file baked into a cake. As an organization it’s crookeder than Porky’s tail.

Carter, I guess.

Cool. I’ll take your Democratic relief check since you couldn’t possibly want to keep it.

Or, as a full time dependent does your check already go to someone else?

People are losing their jobs, share prices are falling.
The truth needs to be set free.

The Queen seems to be under attack.

Nonagenarians are supposed to be retired and not leaders of state. Should hold true for kings/queens. Make 72 a mandatory retirement age and avoid dramas and awkward moments?
