The NCAA now recommending eliminating minimum scores on standardized tests for incoming college first year students in division one and two sports.

What an insult to athletes.

Work on the 40 yard dash, skip worrying over  pi r square.
The educators already know you know that pi are round to begin with.

Yeah just like affirmative action policies were an insult to Clarence Thomas and Ward Connery.

Have a seat, Dolt.

Sad news from England.   An MP stabbed to death at a meeting with constituents in his district.  Used to be seen as fairly safe for MPs to mix with constituents there.   And that was good for democracy.   Today's killing was another attack on it.

The irony of white parents working to keep the story of Ruby Bridges out of school after their white parents/grandparents worked to keep Ruby out of school is American AF.

Jo Cox was stabbed and shot multiple times by a far right extremist in 2016.

Nobody stopped her from writing the book

Kid is in favor of censorship (an action by government) and bookburning.

In favor of books being in proper places.

Which is the issue here

What grade do you think is good for teaching about slavery?

What grade do you think is good for teaching about the holocaust?

What grade do you think is good for teaching about racism?

What grade do you think is good for teaching about sexism?

And at what ages/grades do you think kids start observing or experiencing any of those?!

Still waiting, Kid.

Yeah, I thought of her when I saw this.   Somewhere around 10 - 15 years ago,  this was almost unheard of,  but then around 2010 there was an attack (that guy survived) and then Cox in 2016.  Looks like security for MPs may change.

Odd that this MP,  David Amess,  was seen as a kind gentle soul,  huge animal rights supporter, well liked,  not the sort to have enemies, not making policies that would arouse terrorists -  unless the terrorist was angry at Conservatives generally and he was an easy target.
