Readers React: Is there a connection between homelessness and illegal immigration?

Easy to see if you connect the dots.

Whatever you had were microdots. You shouldn’t have taken them all at once. Waiting to see if you ever come down.

Yep - just like Bush and Cheney, blowhard.

Orruption was rife throughout the Trump Administration transition. Manafort brought Pence into the campaign and Pence was in charge of the transition. Pence either knows everything or nothing, both are bad for the GOP.

More than microdots?

First to flip on the dumpster fire this season. 10 more in front of the panel and we can really start talking about impeachment.

When Arlen found out she was pregnant this year, she was still finishing college and knew she didn't want a child.
...

Well...

was she on birth control?
Did they use a condom?
Was this an immaculate conception?

Or has the women's rights movement given the go ahead to just sleep around aimlessly without regards to consequence?

You probably haven’t banged enough to have a condom break on you or you wouldn’t have asked any of those questions... although I’m sure you’ve had a couple slip off, right?

Because obviously those consequences and the fault for them are entirely on the woman.

Omar's life threatened by the cretin we elected "president", kiidcarter8 has nothing to say.

I dont use the Fox website often

You could even find the story there if you did.

The guy who posted "You really should expand your sourcework" should get his news from something other than the Fox News Cable channel.

Where do you suggest?

apnews.com

www.theguardian.com

reuters.com

npr.org

thehill.com

No paywalls for any of these.

Sure.

Thanks

None of those sites has a bias, right?

Problem for you may be that reading a story from any source requires intelligence and an ability to question and cross-check.  NPR, NYTimes, CNN whomever get stuff wrong, though not because of bias.  If anything you can say many of the mistakes the Times have made lately go in the other direction; framing things incorrectly in an attempt to be unbiased.

If it doesn’t pass the smell test, for you, look to other sources.  If you get your news from more than one source in general, then you find the mistakes faster.

More to the point your issue is that you just automatically think any story that is critical of Trump is a mistake.  So Fox’s cable news channel fits you like a glove.  All we can do here is point out (constantly) how wrong you are and hope that some of the truth seeps, however slowly, into the cracks in your head.

Credit the forum for not giving up on you.

EVERYONE:  I would factcheck Red's claim that the quoted text he cited today is actually from a Harris Poll questionnaire.  I can find it nowhere in the PDF that he posted, nor in other online sources on the August 2019 Harvard/Harris Poll.

If he or someone else cannot produce the link which shows the poll question actually phrased this way, then I would ask Kid to acknowledge that it would be legitimate to dismiss that post.

This includes the phrasing.  May not be the exact poll in question, but they do ask the question:

https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/HHP_June19_FULL-r2-vFinal-7-1-19.pdf

In addition to my previous comments on the total lack of any real connection to candidate positions, there are real biases in the question.  For example, Candidate 1 needs to raise taxes to pay for all those social programs they want.  While Candidate 2 needs not indicate how they pay for lowering taxes and "strengthening the military" which by any definition means increasing military spending.

Maybe if candidate 2 was held to the same standards and its noted that they will lower taxes and increase military spending by cutting social security and medicare while kicking 20 million people off of the ACA, the preferences of the respondents might have been different.

Decision is always the woman's, except in cases of rape.

You consume and regurgitate Fox News here almost daily and worship the "personalities" that feed you, while questioning if the NYTimes and CNN have bias.

I am spot fucking on, "bro."
