Virginia also just ratified the ERA.

Universal health care isn't socialism?  Well then what have you have been squawaking about all these years?
No Scandanavian country practices Socialism.
Not even with healthcare.
Excellent. There is no rational definition of Socialism that both excludes Scandanavia and includes anyone prominent on the American left. So you will shut the fuck up about socialist cocksuckers, right?

Well, since you lack any semblance of integrity or intellectual honesty conversation with you is pointless, so in that sense....

Red is only conversant in tax avoidance and institutionalizing racism. All his other utterances are farts in the wind, senseless noxious clouds, byproducts of the badly digested garbage he ingests.

https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/rendezview/miranda-devine-racism-is-a-convenient-excuse-for-meghans-poor-behaviour/news-story/8f52fbf28d2bd4bcdae8e691f15b7022

Meghan is simply an attention-seeking social climber unwilling to subsume her ego to the institution of the monarchy or play second fiddle to her sister-in-law, the impeccable future Queen, Kate Middleton.

Stories that Meghan hasn’t spoken to Kate for six months and has alienated staff with unreasonable demands are unsourced so need to be taken with a grain of salt. But there is an embarrassing video clip doing the rounds in which we can see for ourselves the power she exerts over Harry.

You can watch as Harry abases himself to ask a bemused Bob Iger, Disney CEO, to give Meghan a job.

“You know she does voiceovers” Harry says. “Ah, really. I did not know that”, replies Iger, spinning towards his wife.

“You seem surprised,” says Harry, stepping forward and looking a little desperate. “But yeah, she’s really interested,” he says, pointing to Meghan who is nearby chatting up Beyonce and studiously avoiding her husband’s eye.

“Sure,” says Iger, politely. “We’d love to try”.

Never once does Meghan come to the rescue of the husband she obviously has put up to it. After he’s done, she beckons him over to talk to Beyonce and Jay-Z, leaving the Igers like shags on a rock. Meghan wasn’t about to sully her dignity by asking the Disney boss for a job but she didn’t mind having her husband do the dirty work.

Harry is not the first man to be bewitched by a beautiful woman and behave in ways he will later regret. It’s an age-old story which speaks of his soft heart and innate chivalry.

Meghan has tapped into his deepest fears of the woman he loves being hounded to death by the paparazzi as his beloved mother Diana was. This is why he is so fiercely protective, and it is why Meghan wasted no time playing the victim, with a new twist of racism.

But it’s not racism which caused the Megxit crisis – the royal family and British public couldn’t have been more welcoming when Meghan suddenly arrived on the scene. She was hailed as a breath of fresh air for the monarchy.

If they were racist, the royals would not have embraced Meghan into their family or laid on a lavish wedding with all the bells and whistles.

Racism is just a convenient excuse and what a slap in the face to the 93-year-old Queen.

Harry spent his first 33 years content in the bosom of the royal family. Trouble only arrived when he married Meghan a mere 20 months ago.

Oh her.
Maybe she didn't know, doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed.
Maybe she did know, but didn't think...doesn't seem to be the deepest thinker in the upper class either.
Harry wore a Nazi uniform to a party, but now he and she are offended by 'everything'...lol.
Anyway, the brooch is not what the problem is.

You are allergic to both discretion and valor, Red. It’s good you know the words if not their meanings.

Discretion is the better part of valor.

Which is what I keep telling 'part-Aboriginal-race' mrs bambu when she starts getting 'excited' about racism of Black people.
Under my guidance she has learnt to stay calm and measured in her responses...most of the time.
As I said here before, she'd been in NYC '5 minutes' when in a coffee place she expressed her displeasure at a white man in a suit verbally abusing a young Black girl behind the counter. Man telling her she was hopeless, too slow, and 'get me my coffee now' or something.
mrs bambu told him he was rude..."you're a rude man, leave the young girl alone, she's going as fast as she can, it's busy, a lot of people to serve".
"Get out of bed earlier"...or something like that.

"Let it go" I tell her, "this is not the time or place to start WW3".
"We've spent a lot of money making your teeth perfect...we can't afford to have someone knock them down your throat".

Australians are social-capitalists.
Universal healthcare, minimum wage/s in all industries/workplaces, welfare benefits, 4 weeks paid annual leave. Higher wages for working public holidays etc.

I can't see how capitalism is about sharing.
Seems to me that capitalism is all about making money for yourself, any legal way you can.
Gotta love assets increasing in value by market forces.

Princess Michael 'told black diners to go back to colonies'

By Marcus Warren in New York
12:05AM BST 27 May 2004

Princess Michael of Kent was accused last night of insulting a party of black diners at a smart New York restaurant with a racist slur, allegedly telling them to "go back to the colonies".

The reported outburst made the controversial member of the Royal Family a hate figure in the city, where she was depicted as a jumped-up aristocrat offending American ideals of equality and racial harmony.
"Royal Bigot", screamed a tabloid, describing the incident as "Pushy Princess Rage" and labelling her the House of Windsor's "equivalent to trailer trash".

Her spokesman denied that she made the remarks but not before they had passed into local lore.

"She needs help," said Merv Matheson, a Wall Street banker who claimed to have felt the whiplash of the princess's tongue. "She has a problem and that problem is racism."

No, it’s not the problem. The problem is the way racists twist themselves in knots to explain why their racist behavior isn’t racist.
