I know, such a tough concept when two words are strung together like that.

And Bing! All knowledge of Google flies right out of your head.
I didn’t think you would be able to explain what you meant.

Please give examples of how Trump created a booming economy.

Business owners, not governments, create jobs

Trump and his people just made this process much, much easier.
Not in any way discernible from the numbers.

Employers do not hire people because the process is easier. They hire them because they need workers for production.
Naive. The effect of regulation roll - backs by the Trump Administration led to the best labor market in history, especially for minorities.

Like we said back n the 90s,

“Clinton created a lot of jobs... and me and wife have five of them.”

Then Bush II and the GOP crashed the economy in 2008 and a lot of us lost everything.

Then Trump comes along and coasts n the Obama economy while rolling back regulations creating environmental racism. But folks hey! Everybody had two gigs and a side hustle...

I have friends who are adjuncts, researchers and Uber drivers...

Now Trump and the GOP have nuked everything so here we are again except this time your job could cost you your life. Folks who rebuilt their business are busted again.

Trump has done nothing but afflict pain. .

"Then Trump comes along ... rolling back regulations creating environmental racism..."

Creating even more environmental racism.

It didn't stop during the Clinton or Obama administrations, even if it wasn't expanding quite as fast.

“More”

Ok?

Think about what you just did,

Not sure what you're driving at, Larry.

We've been watching environmental racism play out for decades, whether it's Flint's water supply or East St. Louis' neighbors dumping pollution into their water and air after creating fake towns to get out from under the city's governance or a host of others.

It's worse under Trump, through his cutting of regs and refusal to enforce those that have not been cut. But it sucked before him, too.

If you don’t get it I can’t tell you,

Speaking of Google

CALLER:

  Is this Gordon's Pizza?

GOOGLE:
No sir, it's Google Pizza.

CALLER:
I must have dialed a wrong number.  Sorry

GOOGLE:
No sir, Google bought Gordon’s Pizza last month.

CALLER:
OK.  I would like to order a pizza.

GOOGLE:
Do you want your usual, sir?

CALLER:

My usual? You know me?

GOOGLE:

According to our caller ID data sheet, the last 12 times you called you ordered an extra-large pizza with three cheeses, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and meatballs on a thick crust.

CALLER:
OK! That’s what I want ...

GOOGLE:

May I suggest that this time you order a pizza with ricotta, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes and olives on a whole wheat gluten-free thin crust?

CALLER:
What? I detest vegetable!

GOOGLE:
Your cholesterol is not good, sir.

CALLER:
How the hell do you know!

GOOGLE:

Well, we cross-referenced your home phone number with your medical records.  We have the result of your blood tests for the last 7 years.

CALLER:

Okay, but I do not want your rotten vegetable pizza!  I already take medication for my cholesterol.

GOOGLE:

Excuse me sir, but you have not taken your medication regularly.  According to our database, you purchased         only a         box of 30 cholesterol tablets once, at Drug RX Network, 4 months ago.

CALLER:
I bought more from another drugstore.

GOOGLE:
That doesn’t show on your credit card statement.

I paid in cash.

GOOGLE:
But you did not withdraw enough cash according to your bank statement.

CALLER:
I have other sources of cash.

GOOGLE:

That doesn’t show on your last tax return unless you bought them using an undeclared income source, which is against the law.

CALLER:
WHAT THE HELL!

GOOGLE:
I'm sorry, sir, we use such information only with the sole intention of helping you.

CALLER:

Enough already!  I'm sick to death of Google, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and all the others.  I'm going to an island without internet, cable TV, where there is no cell phone service and no one to watch me or spy on me.

GOOGLE:
I understand sir, but you need to renew your passport first.  It expired 6 weeks ago...

From WaPo...and other news outlets...

The widower of a former congressional staff member for Joe Scarborough has asked Twitter chief executive officer Jack Dorsey to delete tweets by President Trump furthering a baseless conspiracy theory about his wife’s death.

“My request is simple: Please delete these tweets,” Timothy J. Klausutis wrote in a letter to Dorsey, seeking his intervention as Trump continues to suggest that Scarborough, a former Republican congressman from Florida who is now an MSNBC host, was responsible for the 2001 death of Lori Klausutis.

In a statement Tuesday, Twitter expressed sympathy for the Klausutis family but gave no indication Trump’s tweets would be deleted...

But you can never admit when you're wrong.

Do you think that we are obligated to stop human rights abuses when it happens to people in other nations?

Are we obligated to stop holocausts?

Ethnic cleansing?

I think that we as human beings need to work together for improved human rights for all of humanity. Further, I am a Christian and I see them all as God's children. It is the same reason why we should not let the Africans starve. We are all God's children.

We can easily stop atrocities when we work together as a team.

And by helping other people to be safe and free then I also make sure that I myself am safe and free.

Also, with peace and prosperity we can put everyone to work, we can create jobs for everyone. With jobs too we know that unions bring improved prosperity, and by helping each other we help ourselves.

I support the United Nations, and I support stopping atrocities.

Salute,

Tony V.

As well as the Flint and East St Louis examples Josh gave,  there's the infamous Cancer Alley...

Quote
During the 1950s, chemical manufacturers looking to set up shop avoided heavily populated places. The hulking plants they built tended to be near majority-black communities like St. Gabriel.

“Given prevailing racial attitudes, those communities were, in effect, invisible,” said Craig Colten, a professor of geography and anthropology at Louisiana State University who has published research about the state’s chemical industry...

Not posting this for Ward's benefit (he's beyond the reach of facts or logic) but just for general interest.

Cool,  parallel posts,  another ProPublica report.   Yep.   Want to dump some toxic shit?   Just find a community that's mostly PoC.
