Health authorities have confirmed links between coronavirus cases in Black Lives Matter protests and a cluster of at least 242 cases in Melbourne's public housing towers.
As many as 10,000 people attended the June 6 rally in Melbourne’s CBD, despite warnings from Premier Daniel Andrews and the Department of Health and Human Services urging people to “consider other ways to show support”.

Yes, this is what happens when the streets get taken over by protesters, and cease to be 'owned' by the govt.
...and what happens when weak govt leaders warn and urge instead of ban and enforce.
Now thousands are locked down in 'the projects'...public housing towers....because one, one protester caught it and took it to her retail store workplace, then a colleague took it into the towers...and from there it spread quickly, shared facilities in some parts of some towers.
That's very unfortunately. It's also different from what has been seen hear, suggesting perhaps your protesters were not wearing masks.
Some were wearing masks, not all.
There was some social distancing...not much though.
All it took was one person to get infected, obviously from someone else there.
Many of the people locked down in the towers could be refugees. Some are locals.
The apartments are quite small, judging by media reports, some occupants standing at the small windows between the blinds and the glass...with signs "hungry", "no food", etc.
Yes, 'dopey Dan', the Premier,...instead of organising the army to deliver enough food to the thousands as soon as he announced the hard lockdown, had a few trucks from charities deliver food. "They won't let food from the mosque be delivered"...it was reported one woman said.
Couldn't run a chook raffle.
