Of all the remarkable weeks and all the remarkable events we've experienced since Trump became president, Russia hacking and collusion, China trade war, Ukraine, impeachment, the Senate non-trial, lies and more lies and endless lies, the disclosure books from every corner of Trump world, the plague we call covid-19, this week may have been the most remarkable.

Just 6 days ago he nominates a polar opposite SC justice to replace a liberal giant to pack the court with a hard-right majority to threaten the rights and way of life for the majority of Americans,

the NY Times does a massive expose detailing how the conman has likely engaged in tax-fraud for years and cheating the US of millions,

has the first debate with Joe Biden where he totaly implodes showing no control, and exposes himself as a racist fascist who in plain sight of the American people refuses to honor the election,

and ialls out an army of fascist thugs to standby by to intimidate American voters who want to exercise their right to vote.

Then he catchs covid due most likely to his stupidity in not adopting common sense public health prevention measures like wearing a mask and practice social distancing.

Then in a super-spreader event he likely infects others in his close political circles because of his ignorance and selfishness.

I might have missed some stuff but it was truly a remarkable week.

I wonder how he tops it next week?

Beware infrastructure week. It could be around any corner.

"This is not a matter of politics. It's a bracing reminder to all of us that we have to take this virus seriously. It's not going away automatically."

Blahlahblahhhhhhhh

As dumb as Cuomo, if this is possible.

Stop with the OBVIOUS.  Give us some fucking answers.

There arent any, Joe?  Just the insidious virus that needs dealing with?

Well, welcome to Trump's world.

Be the fucking Prez.  Go'head.  Heh.  Will be fun to watch you age without a hint of wisdom or sign of a ballsack..

Vote Biden. Your 401K will thank you.

I wonder if any of the Trump haters on this board have considered what’s going to happen if Trump
is back on the campaign trail in a few days and immune while Joe is not.

Just a thought

He’ll have demonstrated with all the resources at its disposal his Administration couldn’t keep the top echelon of the Republican Party or himself safe from the virus. How the fuck he gonna cover you?

That’s why there are 200K plus people dead and 11 million unemployed with another 60K getting furloughed or laid off because the president couldn’t give a shit because he is as reckless and incompetent as he’s always been.
Sure.
Uh huh.

Maybe Ms. Conway doesn't have the virus. Maybe she has the alternative coronavirus.

That'll be out in 2 weeks

with a few days off at Walter Reed and gaining some hands on experience, Trump can tighten up his healthcare insurance plan.

and make damn sure that no President or no billionaire will ever face the crisis of not having pre-existing conditions uninsured!

Trump came too late to be tested.

Wallace says he thinks Trump knew or suspected.

Hard to imagine why the killer of more than 100,000 people in the last 8 months would have folks wishing him death, Bambi!

But he is not safer from them at Walter Reed than he was at home. Their ill-wishes are not why he is at the hospital.

I heard about the American Witches and the big full moon today. A friend said they had some of his DNA on a dress which helps focus the spell.

We’re about to find out how Regeneron’s polyclonal antibody cocktail interacts with elephantine doses of Adderall, thanks to a surprise one man trial hosted at Walter Reed.

It’s amazing, trump being so sick and all, that he managed to find time to destroy another million and a half jobs in this country.

Its within six feet for 15 or more minutes
Or if you are coughed/sneezed on.

I'd agree that within 6 feet of an infected person, maskless, for 15+ minutes makes it pretty likely that you'd catch the virus.  But it's not like the virus cant travel more than 6' or someone get infected in under 1 minute.  It's pretty arbitrary/general guidelines.

If everyone wears mask it's very good double protection.  If Trump circa March 1 said that everyone needs to wear a mask in public to combat the virus.  That it will take some getting used to, and he's not thrilled about it, but masks are the main way to limit transmission and defeat the virus.  Everyone would have been on board, and if even 10+% refused out of some misguided stupidity, the US would have been safe and the virus would have been contained in 2+ months.  That's all it would have taken, for Trump to set an example, wear a mask and tell others to do the same.  And have his medical team do the same.   And then to organize testing properly and contact tracing.

Over 100K Americans would still be alive.  A million or more wouldn't have gotten sick.  The economy and normal life would be back.  Maybe folks would need to wear masks, and be able to have a normal life/country again.  60 cent masks ..

During Tuesday night’s debate, members of Trump’s team — including the first lady — flouted Ohio ordinances and did not wear masks despite requests from the Cleveland Clinic, where the event was hosted.
