I don't think there's anything wrong with American democracy that large voter turnout won't cure.

Jeff Flake igoing to get his Capra-Mr Smith goes to Washington moment?

And Jeff looks just as befuddled as Jimmy Stewart did.

No drunken serial rapists for SC justice especially if he's a publican? Very interesting mid-term election. Swept away in metoo?

So all the "little lies" Kavanaugh fed to Senators yesterday could very well come back to haunt him if one other Republican joins Flake and there is an FBI investigation.

Because even if he is only calling for a one week delay and that wouldn't on its face be enough time to really investigate the incident, it will take them far, far less time than that to prove those lies for what they are.

And then is the GOP going to argue that it is ok for a SCOTUS Justice to have lied to a Senate Committee?  Because I'm pretty sure that is illegal.

JUst in -

Flake will vote YES

There was never a real doubt.

There is small doubt about Collins and a little more about Murkowski.

But even then, not a ton.

Quote
"I left the hearing yesterday with as much doubt as certainty," Flake said, but "what I do know is that our system of justice affords a presumption of innocence to the accused, absent corroborating evidence."

Again, this isn't a trial or legal proceeding.
And one reason there is no corroborating evidence is because the Senate refuses to have the FBI investigate or subpoena Mark Judge.

His SWORN testimony is that he has no knowledge of the incident in question.

SWORN to whom, when?

He wrote a note.

He has not testified. He has not been questioned.

And he declined to testify.

Still not an investigation.  Investigators get a guy in a room.  Sweat him a little.  Talk to his friends and acquaintances in that period of his life.  Talks to "PJ" and "Squi" and see if their accounts are consistent.

Good God man, get a grip.

If you are on the wrong end of things, accept and move on.

Just like you do?!

Or like Santorum's advice to women being raped.

It is to laugh.

They see global warming.

They see catastrophe.

They have no plans to do anything about it.
