Here is a test most of you bitches should have no trouble with:

The fringe left is entertaining but not appropriate and to me dangerous.

I can agree with this

But how much danger is there really with no actual power?

What’s funny is those called the ‘fringe left’ these days would have been moderates in the 60s.

Moderates in the 60’s were calling for Medicare for all, a shutdown of private health insurance, “ free” college tuition, wealth taxes, a shutdown of energy from fossil fuels, and so on?

It was all about the VN war and the draft in the late 60's. Immigration and health care were on the back burner.

Back in the 60s and 70s we had a slogan: "America - love it or leave it!" It was wrong then. It's wrong now.

No it wasn't.
It's not wrong now.

I'd tell you to stick to something you know, but it seems you don't know anything, including how ignorant you are.

Barack Obama called a cop stupid in July 2009 and lost white support for the rest of his presidency.

Because the facts did not back him up.

No, it had nothing to do with the facts.

But little you have to say does.
Interesting that the Global Moderator is so ignorant of easily verifiable facts.

Interesting that for facts that are ostensibly so easily verifiable, you neglect to provide any.
Are you ignorant of fifth grade research tools?

Are you ignorant of fourth grade argumentation principles? You made a claim, you provide the evidence to support the claim.

My fellow Americans, why Viet Nam. The domino theory. LBJ Would not listen to anyone. Rioting everywhere, such a waste.

Worse than that, Luee - America lied to by its military officials, which led to needless deaths as well as some of the rioting, but not all of it.

But Luee? The riots were predicted in the early 60s as was the generation gap. Nobody listened to that, either.

Medicare was one of biggest legislative battles in history and Republicans said it was Socialism.

Again, Trump seems to focus only on his base.

I love that 1969 Onion front page.   Spouse read it and laughed hysterically.

It started with the Gulf of Tonkin.

Two days later on August 4, Maddox and the destroyer Turner Joy both reported to be under attack again, by North Vietnamese torpedo boats; during this alleged engagement, Turner Joy fired approximately 220 3-inch & 5-inch shells at radar controlled surface targets.[6] Hanoi subsequently insisted that it had not launched a second attack. A later investigation by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee revealed that Maddox had been on an electronic intelligence (DESOTO) mission. It also learned that the U.S. Naval Communication Center in the Philippine Islands, in reviewing the ships' messages, had questioned whether any second attack had actually occurred.[7] In 2005, an internal National Security Agency historical study was declassified; it concluded that Maddox had engaged the North Vietnamese Navy on August 2, but that there may not have been any North Vietnamese Naval vessels present during the engagement of August 4. The report stated:

It is not simply that there is a different story as to what happened; it is that no attack happened that night.

And Medicare was passed easily with huge majorities in the House and Senate.
It was hardly a “ fringe “ issue.
