I have to agree with Larry and Kid.

Republican officialdom and more and more the party as a whole is comprised of feckless surrender monkeys. They no longer have the power or unity of purpose to stop any of Biden’s popular and practical agenda.

While the cracker taliban is putting its heart and soul into getting Moscow Mitch and defendant don to make kissy face or at least to get them to stand back and stand by, Democrats can do the people’s business.

Americans care far more about the government getting things done to reverse and resolve the nasty tangle of republican born crises infecting and plaguing their lives.

Put bills on the table and pull out the stops helping republicans self-demonize, and we’ll have a healthier culture and economy. We will also eventually wind up in a place where more republican “leaders” are in prison where they belong than in office where they clearly don’t.

Republicans have no counter proposals to anything in Biden’s agenda because Democrats have taken all the best ideas and the alternatives available to the republicans are all clearly worse.

It’s why one after another republicans keep running away.

Repubs have nothing to offer Americans, they have two cards left-FEAR & HATE.

LIBRALS!
SOCIALISTS!

Do not help the motherfuckers reunite the dysfuntional fascist party on the basis of hate and fear

Your stance is odd.  R's will always have those cards.  To use an analogy ... Don't let the bully at school cower you in fear.

Rs will always have those cards. But if people are healthy and working and their kids are in schools, a pair of bullets don't mean shit aginst a full and working and happy  house.

Nail down the important stuff-covid-economy-jobs-schools the stuff people Rs and Ds (people not politicians) want.

This is bi-partisan.

Let the Rs (pols) argue against relief and jobs and insurance

the stuff their constituents want too.

and in the near-term stay away from divisive issues that could threaten '22.

the Repubs have nothing to offer but fear, don't let them put the card in play.

Its not that complicated.

Or you can propose medicare for all, pack the supreme court- free college and scare the piss out of mods and indies.

You know the voters you need in '22 and '24 to get more stuff done.

But it you want Mitch back to choke Biden's agenda, knock yourself out

Its not that complicated.

[b"]scare the piss out of mods and Indies".
[/b]

Playing not to lose; that's always a winning strategy.

If white nationalists assaulting the Capitol and trying to over throw the government doesn't scare moderates and independents making sure they have complete medical coverage in a post pandemic but potentially infectious world will.

Wrong again Larry.

I'm suggesting Dems start starting pitchers that can go deep into the game rather than offer up soft-tossing junk-ballers than will get pounded hard.

so lets stick with a starting rotation of

-Covid relief
- economic relief
-heathcare inurance
-safe schools
-infrastructure and jobs

the stuff most people (Rs and D voters) want

it not that controversial

and let R-pols argue against the stuff their voters want.

it puts them in a box

We've seen movement away from R to indy over the past month, lets keep the momentum in that direction.

But if you want to halt that momentum, feel free to push medicare for all, free college, defund the police, etc.  you know more divisive stuff

I'm asking you to be smart.

And I understand thats asking alot.

There are lots of insane conspiracy theory beleiving motherfuckers in red-states who believe insane shit, and they make up a decent % of those red states, but it Dems can peel off some of the indies in those red states who see and understand the insanity and are now working and healthy and insured, they may have a different take on Dems in '22 and '24 and not be so scared of liberal ideas. and maybe we can flip a few more Senate seats and keep the House in the mid-terms.

Or we can let the Rs scare them back to the fold and blow a chance to nail down a win in '22

We have a choice for the next year or so, I"m suggesting a choice that makes sense politically.

White voters are so ignorant and fearful they can be scared by programs that are beneficial to them but appear to level out some of the inequities in society?

I don't agree.

That's fine,

You just keep on posting Achtung and blaming white people, and providing no substance other than GO BIG and I'm sure it will work out just fine.

And all those inequities, real and perceived will magically go away as quickly as the D majority in Congress will.

After the 2 trillion dollar Covid package, which begins to address the short term needs of schools, there will come the infrastructure package. Progressives will ask for a ten trillion dollar package backed by a hefty wealth tax. Biden will shepherd a more modest package through north of five trillion backed by a more modest wealth tax. It will cut carbon burning out of our energy sectors while distributing opportunities and compensation more equitably across the entire economy.

Republicans are too weak to fight it in what most charitably to them might still be a 54-46 country. The insurrection, plus the Texas debacle, plus the next big stupid republican fuck up will hamstring their ability to raise an effective stink.

Biden is going big. He heard the achtung and is paying attention. That’s why he has and is surrounding himself with people who won’t let him take his eye off the ball.

When the American people need help, it’s not the Democrats running away to Cancun.

Every little miscruz lets the Democrats safely go a little bolder.

Biden administration admits first group of migrants forced to stay in Mexico under Trump-era policy

https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/19/politics/immigration-us-mexico-border/index.html

Here comes the anchor baby horde. Central Americans forced to live in Mexico, that's a huge upgrade? Nancee must be overcome with joy, cheap nannies, child labor, and cheap recreational drugs.

Fac you'll probably be disappointed.

Joe will be going focused and the ball he's focused on is  '22.

Joe can count votes and has to worry about 50 if he gets too aggressive, never mind 60.

Joe will get his $1.9T package after that we'll see who he directs some pork and bennies to to get votes.

And Cancun Ted's sad south of the border act was probably of more value to Andrew Cuomo than it was to Biden.

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/feb/19/biden-can-repay-black-americans-through-canceling-our-student-debt

And with student debt cancelled sales to first-time home buyers should increase as younger folks will have better balance sheets.  Home values will go up and new homes will be built.  That helps those who've already paid off their student debt and many who are out of work.  Trickle up!
